BOSSIER CITY - The Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers softball team is ranked 19th in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association Division I poll which came out Wed., March 13. The Lady Cavaliers are 20-2 overall, and have a big weekend of Region XIV games ahead beginning on Fri., March 15 when they travel to Navarro College to meet the Bulldogs. On Sat., March 16, Bossier Parish plays host to No. 3 Tyler Junior College in a doubleheader scheduled for 1 and 3 p.m. at the BPCC Softball Field. BPCC and TJC were the 2018 Region XIV Regular Season Co-Champions, but the Apache Ladies knocked the Lady Cavaliers out of the Region Tournament with a 9-7 win in the semifinals. TJC and Galveston College would eventually be declared the Co-Tournament Champions with both advancing to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in St. George, Utah.
